Meet the Artist

Maya Restifo is a photographer and writer from New Jersey. She began by studying dark room photography in high school. She graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2024 with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in photography.

She currently works and lives in Pittsburgh, PA.



Maya is the author of two photo books,

"All My Friends Live on Love Street"

and

"I Miss My Friends on Love Street."

These are stream-of-consciousness books that read like a diary, with motifs of growth, longing, joy, and love. Through these books and those to come, Maya marries her visual art with her creative writing background.

Maya gets the most enrichment through analog methods of art making. She enjoys alternative photo processes, printmaking, and collecting art in all forms.
